What You’ll Actually Do
- Audit Support: Participate in audit engagements for local government entities and non-profit organizations, supporting senior staff in applying established accounting standards and practices.
- Financial Record Review: Assist with the examination and verification of financial statements, transactions, and other accounting records to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Accounting Principles Application: Apply foundational business, accounting, and bookkeeping knowledge to a variety of tasks that support the firm’s core auditing operations.
- Career Development: Engage actively in learning and career development, with potential for assistance towards an accounting degree and CPA licensure after a trial period.
- Operational Contribution: Contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the firm’s accounting and auditing services in a supportive and evolving capacity.
The Must-Haves
- Background: Entry-Level professional with foundational knowledge in business, accounting, and/or bookkeeping principles. This role is suitable for someone eager to start and grow an accounting career within our firm.
