Shift Auto Group is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable & General Accounting Clerk to join our administrative team in Fredericton, NB.

Reporting to the accounting leadership, you'll play a key role in supporting accurate financial records, strong vendor relationships, and efficient accounting processes. What You'll Do

Receive, review, and process vendor invoices accurately and on time

Work with internal teams to obtain approvals, confirm coding, and resolve discrepancies

Assist with processing payments by cheque, EFT, or other approved methods

Reconcile vendor statements, investigate billing issues, and maintain organized AP files

Respond to vendor inquiries, build positive relationships, and assist with vendor onboarding

Process employee expense claims and help reconcile corporate credit card statements

Assist with journal entries, account reconciliations, general ledger accuracy, and month-end close

Support accounts receivable, cash management, audit requests, and management reporting





Identify opportunities for process improvements and provide general administrative support

What We're Looking For

Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement

Comfortable and clear communicator with internal teams and external vendors

Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and consistently meet deadlines

Interest in accounting processes, financial controls, and supporting team workflows

Post-secondary education or prior experience in accounting or administration is considered an asset
