This large shop has several areas of focus and is currently looking to add entry level Ag Mechanics (Apprentice level 1, 2, or 3 in Ag or related field) to work on their Heavy Ag repair, PDI/Set‑Up, or Turf/Lawn & Garden equipment.



Afternoon shift 1:00 pm – 10:00 pm Monday‑Friday. ($5.00 per hour SHIFT PREMIUM for qualifying shifts).

Responsibilities

- Inspect, diagnose, repair and service agricultural equipment with a commitment to customer support and pride in workmanship
- Use specialized tools, cutting edge technology, and creative solutions to diagnose and complete complex repairs
- Perform preventative maintenance activities as per documented schedules/standards on equipment and related components
- Gain knowledge of John Deere agriculture products
- Use diagnostic tools and computer functions
- Attend & participate in: Apprenticeship training, John Deere University training and dealer‑led training to further develop skills and technical capabilities

Requirements

- Have a positive attitude & demonstrate a willingness to learn and succeed
- Be mechanicallyminded, and have experience performing service repairs/maintenance
