We are seeking a motivated Apprentice Carpenter to join our team and develop essential skills in carpentry and construction. This paid apprenticeship offers hands-on experience working on a variety of woodworking projects, from framing to finishing. Responsibilities
Assist senior carpenters with constructing and installing structures such as cabins, sheds, and outdoor furniture.
Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans accurately.
Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively.
Participate in concrete forming, finishing, and other foundational tasks as needed.
Support drywall installation, siding application,
and woodworking projects with precision.
Engage in heavy lifting and material handling to ensure efficient workflow.
Contribute to restoration projects by repairing or refurbishing existing wood structures.
Experience
No prior professional experience required; however, familiarity with construction or woodworking is a plus.
Basic understanding of blueprint reading and schematics is advantageous.
Willingness to learn about concrete forming, drywall installation, siding techniques, and welding processes.
Comfort with heavy lifting and operating power tools safely.
Strong work ethic with a focus on safety standards and teamwork.
Ability to follow detailed instructions and ask questions when needed for clarity.
