Apprentice

Service Technician to join our fast-paced, energetic dealership in

Swift Current, SK .

This large shop has several areas of focus and is currently looking to add entry level Ag Mechanics

(Apprentice level 1, 2, or 3 in Ag or related field) to work on their Heavy Ag repair, PDI/Set‑Up, or Turf/Lawn & Garden equipment.



Afternoon shift 1:00 pm – 10:00 pm Monday‑Friday. ($5.00 per hour SHIFT PREMIUM for qualifying shifts).

Responsibilities

Inspect, diagnose, repair and service agricultural equipment with a commitment to customer support and pride in workmanship

Use specialized tools, cutting edge technology, and innovative solutions to diagnose and complete complex repairs

Perform preventative maintenance activities as per documented schedules/standards on equipment and related components

Gain knowledge of John Deere agriculture products

Use diagnostic tools and computer functions

Attend & participate in: Apprenticeship training, John Deere University training and dealer‑led training to further develop skills and technical capabilities

Requirements

Have a positive attitude & demonstrate a willingness to learn and succeed

Be mechanicallyminded, and have experience performing service repairs/maintenance
