The purpose of this course is to provide an overview of the area of the psychology of crime with a special focus on Clinical Criminology, also referred to as Forensic Psychology. Issues pertaining to the following topics will be explored: 1) the nature and definition of the crime, 2) the development of the offender (theoretical perspectives), 3) the intersection of crime and mental health, and 4) the victim.Psychology Masters or PhD degree and PhD candidates near completion
