Job Summary: At GFL, the AZ Tractor Trailer Driver will operate tractor-trailer trucks on assigned route to service customers in a safe and efficient manner. The Driver will be hauling open top/walking floor trailers of wood.

Requirements

- Licensing: Valid Commercial Driver’s License (AZ) with a clean Driver’s Abstract and CVOR.
- Driving Experience:



Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience (or completion of an accredited truck driving school program).
- Equipment Operation: Demonstrated ability to safely operate heavy commercial collection vehicles and hydraulic packer systems.
- Safety Commitment: Ability to successfully satisfy all company standards for safety-sensitive operational roles.
- Reliability: Strong attendance record and flexibility to support early morning start schedules and operational overtime when needed.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate tractor-trailer truck on assigned route to haul trailers of wood from site to site.
- Ensure all wood is emptied out of the trailer when dumping a load.
- Provide CSR with each trailer number after the load is dumped and net weight.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip safety lane inspections and reports, daily truck report, route sheets and other documentation requested by supervisor daily.
- Communicate vehicle mechanical problems to mechanic and supervisor immediately. #GFLTalent
