We are a family in Burlington, near Guelph Line and Upper Middle, looking for a kind, calm babysitter to spend time with our 10-month-old baby.

This would start very lightly, around 0-2 hours a day, with flexibility as we get to know each other and the relationship grows. There is no rush, but we are open to starting right away with the right person.

The main focus is simply caring for him: being present with him while he plays, feeding him as needed, taking him for walks, and helping him settle or sleep when needed. We are looking for someone gentle, observant, and slow to intervene. A like-minded approach to childcare would be ideal, especially someone familiar with or open to RIE parenting, Waldorf, or the Listen philosophy.

A Good Fit Would Be Someone Who Is

- Calm, patient, warm, and attentive
- Comfortable caring for an infant




- Respectful of a slower, child-led approach
- CPR/First Aid certified or willing to be
- Able to provide references
- Non-smoker
- Comfortable around pets

This is mainly a live-out babysitting role, but we would be open to a live-in arrangement if there is mutual interest and the fit feels right.

Pay can be discussed based on experience, schedule, and whether the arrangement is occasional, part time, or live-in.
