Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, a strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Prior restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems are highly desirable. The position involves serving drinks, managing cash transactions, and ensuring food safety standards are maintained.

Duties

- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with recipes and customer preferences
- Use POS systems such as Micros POS for order entry, billing, and cash handling
- Engage with customers to provide excellent service, answer questions, and create a positive experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies
- Ensure compliance with food safety and food handling standards at all times
- Manage cash register operations accurately, including cashiering duties and basic math calculations for transactions
- Restock bar supplies as needed and assist with inventory management




- Serve food items when required, supporting overall restaurant operations
- Uphold responsible alcohol service policies and monitor guest consumption for safety

Qualifications

- Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, especially in bartending or serving roles
- Familiarity with Micros POS or similar cashiering systems is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Hospitality-oriented mindset with a friendly demeanor and teamwork attitude
- Must be 21 years or older (if applicable by local regulations)
