We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic behaviour interventionist (BI) with experience working with young children and some knowledge of ABA to run home-based ABA sessions.

Training will be provided by a Board-Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA). Currently, we are looking for a BI for two teams in the Richmond area.

Richmond (After-School Sessions)

- Location: Burnaby
- Schedule: 1 or 2 sessions per week, after school (approximately 4-5 pm)(any day except Thursdays)
- Learner: 10 years old
- Focus areas: Expressive and receptive language, social skills and cognitive skills
- Starting time: ASAP
- Rate: $25-35 per hour based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

- Support the learner in the community settings (e.g., library, community centers, shopping malls, etc)
- Implement individualized behaviour programs focused on language development, cognitive skills, following instructions and schedules, and social skills
- Collect and record session data accurately
- Participate in scheduled team meetings
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals

Qualifications:

- Fluent in English
- Access to personal viehcle
- Experience working with young children, particularly those with autism




- Knowledge of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) principles is preferred
- Educational background or current studies in Psychology, Special Education, Early Childhood Education, or Speech-Language Pathology are considered strong assets
- Reliable, enthusiastic, and creative approach to working with children
