Position Title: Bus Driver

As a central division of the Society, Regent Christian Academy (RCA) is our flagship campus-based school, serving the community through our Sullivan and Cloverdale campuses in Surrey, BC. We bring the RCAS mission to life through a vibrant, in-person learning community where students from Preschool through Grade 12 engage in rigorous academics, competitive athletics, and the fine arts. At RCA, we are dedicated to fostering a safe and nurturing environment where classroom excellence and spiritual mentorship prepare students to lead and serve with integrity.

Reports to: Operations Manager or such other person as may be appointed by the Director.

Overview: Our Bus Drivers play a vital role in bringing this mission to life by ensuring students from Preschool through Grade 12 have a safe, nurturing, and reliable journey to and from their educational activities.

Key Responsibilities & Core Competencies:

· Safe Operation: Safely operate a school bus on assigned routes and schedules.

· Student Wellbeing: Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during transport.

· Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.

· Environment Management: Maintain order and enforce school bus safety rules.





· Professional Communication: Communicate professionally with students, parents, and school staff.

· Emergency Response: Respond calmly and appropriately to emergencies or unexpected situations.

Compensation & Benefits:

· Pay: CA $23.00 to $31.00 hourly (based on experience)

· Benefits: Extended Health & Dental, Pension plan available upon eligibility.
