Job Summary

We specialize in commercial and residential construction and work on many diverse projects throughout our beautiful province. We are currently seeking qualified Journeyman carpenters and Apprentices to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be of productive, safety-minded employee for a home and other commercial construction development, capable of working with minimal oversight but willing to follow directions closely. Additionally, he or she should be familiar with construction industry safety standards and procedures to ensure project security.

Applicants must:

- Comply with all safety policies and procedures
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
- Measuring, cutting, and shaping wood, plastic, and other materials
- Standing for extended periods of time. Regular use of body to bend, crouch, kneel, etc.
- Constructing building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes
- Erecting, leveling, and installing building framework
- Ensure adherence to safety and compliance codes

· Operate basic power and manual tools for work

· Able to work independently with minimum supervision

· Detail-oriented and able to read and interpret blueprints,

· Good team player, flexible and client focus

· Understanding and ability to follow safe work procedures, and work within a crew accordingly

- Other related duties as required

Responsibilities





- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to execute construction plans accurately
- Perform concrete forming and rebar installation for structural integrity
- Carry out restoration projects with attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
- Install cabinets, flooring, and tiles with precision
- Execute construction plaster, painting tasks to enhance aesthetic appeal
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and CNC machinery safely and effectively
- Engage in masonry work as needed, ensuring durability and compliance with specifications
- Assist in roofing, siding installation, caulking, and other exterior projects
- Participate in construction estimating to provide accurate project assessments
- Collaborate with team members on assembly tasks and heavy lifting requirements
- Strong background in carpentry, woodworking, masonry, and flooring installation
- Experience with concrete forming, tile laying, roofing, siding, and caulking techniques
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
