The Digital Compositing Artist is responsible for assembling the visual elements of a visual effects shot to ensure artistic and technical consistency. They are involved at various stages of the 2D pipeline to deliver believable, polished, and photorealistic images. This role requires precision, creativity, and robust proficiency in Nuke. The artist works closely with supervision, production, and other departments, actively contributing to the final quality of projects.
Main responsibilities:
Master your craft
- Carry out assigned digital compositing tasks with precision and efficiency, in accordance with Rodeo FX standards.
- Create masks (rotoscoping) and apply clean plate techniques, retouching, and rig removal.
- Manage the full 2D pipeline: precomps, element synchronization, grain removal/addition, 2D tracking, compositing, color correction, and integration.
