Construction Miners are sought by DMC Mining Services, a leader in underground mining, for their Sudbury, Ontario operations. This role involves a variety of underground construction tasks, including concrete work and steel installation. The ideal candidate will have significant underground mining experience and a commitment to safety and teamwork. What You’ll Need
- Minimum of three (3) years experience as an underground Construction Miner
- Basic Underground Common Core training in program # 770010 U0000-U0001-U0002-U0012
- Common core specialty modules: U0085a (Concrete Installations), U0085b (Timber Installations), U0085c (Steel Installations)
- Ability to perform concrete work, installation of timbers and specialized ground support, forming, vent doors, walls, and refuge stations
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches
- Experience operating underground mining equipment (forklift, scissor lift, man carrier)
