The Opportunity

We are looking for a reliable and talented Cook to join the culinary team at House of McGrath. You will prepare dishes to a consistently high standard, run your station with pride, and learn from experienced chefs every day. This is a great role for a cook who cares about quality and wants to build a career in a skilled kitchen.

What You'll Do

- Prepare and cook menu items to House of McGrath recipes, portions and presentation standards
- Set up, stock and maintain your station before and during service
- Complete prep work, including chopping, portioning and ingredient preparation
- Communicate clearly with the kitchen team so orders go out accurately and on time
- Monitor food quality, freshness and consistency throughout service
- Follow food handling, storage and sanitation procedures, and keep all work areas clean and organized

What You Bring





- Previous experience as a cook or line cook in a restaurant kitchen is preferred
- Sound knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations
- Strong teamwork, communication and time management skills
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Ability to stand for long periods and handle the physical demands of a busy kitchen
- Understanding of food safety standards; Ontario Food Handler certification, or willingness to obtain it
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and holidays
