Alteo is looking for a Customer Service / IT Support Specialist for a 12-month contract based in Montreal (West Island). 100% in office.

Responsibilities

- Be on-site Monday through Friday to greet users and visitors and address their needs.
- Draft announcements and manage their distribution to users.
- Provide first-level IT support to users (network connection, hardware, software).
- Ensure the smooth operation of multifunction copiers: resolve software installation issues, coordinate maintenance and repairs with the vendor, and provide training to new users.
- Install and configure IP phones for new users. Troubleshoot first-level issues and, if necessary, contact the telephone service provider for more complex problems.
- Manage access cards: prepare new access cards for new users, program building doors, and monitor the system’s proper functioning.



Coordinate the vendor’s visits for repairs or maintenance services.
- Manage the key system: maintain the key inventory, have copies made as needed, and update the list of key holders.
- Manage meeting room reservations, program access readers to grant permissions, and ensure that the rooms are fully functional for users.
- Monitor the condition of the premises with regard to facility maintenance.

Profile:
- DEC in Computer Science or equivalent
- 2 years of experience in Level 1 IT user support
- 1 year of experience in customer service
- Excellent customer service skills; enjoys helping users
- Knowledge of computer network administration
- Knowledge of installing and configuring workstations, multifunction copiers, and IP phones
- Strong analytical and diagnostic skills
- Resourceful and self-reliant
- Strong communication skills
