Schedule

Monday to Thursday: 7:00 am - 4:00 pm

Includes working one evening a week until 7:30 pm

Fridays will be added late fall 2026

Canada Life Health Perks The wage for this DentalAssistantposition is$24.00 - $30.00/hourdepending on skills, experience, and location.





Compensation for this role is also flexible and will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and overall fit.

Your Role

Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment

Assistdentists and hygienists during treatments,maintainingpatient comfort and workflow

Take dental X-rays and digital images asrequired

Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards

Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care

Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks

Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care

Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines

Establish strong patient relationships whilemaintainingethical professional behaviour

Welcome andassist patients upon arrival, creating a warm and positive first impression

Optimize the daily appointment schedule to ensure fullutilization with minimal gaps

Effectively manage the recall system andmaintainaccurate, up-to-date patient records

Handle incoming patient calls and inquiries, including appointment scheduling, confirmations, changes, and cancellations

About You

Registered and/orCertified as aDental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body or associationisrequired

Previousdentalassistingexperience is preferred
