Shift: Monday-Thursday, 4:30PM-3AM

Department: GM The Designated Trainer is responsible for effective development, coordination and presentation of training and development programs for all employees. Ensure that FedEx Supply Chain policies and procedures are followed. This position is responsible for safety, quality and legality.

- Coordinate the activities of the trainers and distribute the tasks to maintain an efficient and planned workload according to internal needs.
- Make trainer schedules, confirmation of participants and production and distribution of training materials.
- Recommend measures to improve performance and increase efficiency while ensuring rigorous compliance with safety

rules.
- Ensure that FedEx Supply Chain policies and procedures are followed.
- Assist the supervisor in certain activities such as: performance evaluation, application of disciplinary measures.
- Perform all other tasks and responsibilities assigned by management
- Modify programs as needed.
- Provide effective training materials utilizing a variety of media.
- Coach others involved in training efforts, providing effective growth and development opportunities.
- Maintain property communications such as bulletin boards and newsletters to ensure employees have knowledge of property events and general information.
- Work with Operations Supervisors with the re-evaluation of employees and assist in the operations process.
- Exemplify the desired culture and philosophies of the organization.
- Work effectively as a team member with other members of management and the human resources staff.

Education/Experience
- High school diploma or GED and 1 year of relevant experience.
- Forklift certification preferred.
- Experience with and ability to operate material handling equipment, electric pallet jack experience preferred.




- Familiarity with Radio Frequency (RF) equipment is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills.
- Customer service driven.
- Strong team player.
- Good computer skills must know Word and Excel, and ability to learn how different software work.
- Sense of initiative, analysis and organization.
- Care for quality and accuracy in data entry.
- Problem solving skills.
- Ability to handle stress.
- Ability to adapt to the different tasks and schedules of the gatehouse.
