The purpose of the Driver is to provide timely and accurate delivery of products to our valued customers. The Driver is required to work in outside weather conditions year-round.

Responsibilities

- Delivering customer orders as per established route and schedules

- Maintaining a daily trip log

- Adhering to all Preferred Work Methods and Standard Operating Procedures

- Understanding, upholding and complying with Sysco's policies and procedures, e.g. Health and Safety, returns, etc.

- Carrying out duties in a secure manner as instructed through safety training.

- Carrying out duties while upholding our food safety and quality programs

- Participating in various meetings/groups (shift, departmental, company and safety)

- Performing other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager and / or Supervisors.

Qualifications

- Class AZ Driver's License with clean Driver's Abstract

- English fluency

- Reliable and safety conscious with a teamwork attitude

- Medium to high level of physical exertion is required; repetitive lifting to 40 kg

- Time Management

- Planning and Organizational skills

- General knowledge of mechanics and mathematics

- Basic computer skills (MS Office: Access, Excel, and Word)
