About the Role

Our client is seeking a visually astute and analytical E-commerce Merchandising Specialist to join their team in Kimberley. This role is key to optimizing the online product presentation and customer shopping experience to drive sales and conversions. You will be responsible for planning, implementing, and analyzing merchandising strategies for the e-commerce platform, including product categorization, visual merchandising, and promotional activities. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of consumer behavior, and proficiency in using data to inform merchandising decisions. You will collaborate closely with marketing, buying, and design teams to ensure a cohesive and compelling online store.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and execute online merchandising strategies to maximize product visibility and sales conversions.
- Organize and manage product categories, ensuring logical navigation and clear product presentation.
- Create engaging product displays and optimize product listings with high-quality images and compelling descriptions.
- Develop and implement promotional campaigns, including sales, bundles, and featured product placements.

Requirements

- Proven experience in e-commerce merchandising, online visual merchandising, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of online retail best practices and consumer purchasing behavior.
- Proficiency in using e-commerce platforms and content management systems.
- Excellent analytical skills with experience in analyzing sales data and website metrics.
- Strong visual eye and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
