Kickstand is hiring a Finance Officer to oversee financial operations part time in Edmonton.

Your role includes bookkeeping, payroll processing, and grant tracking in a hybrid setup. Reporting to the Executive Director, you will collaborate with various teams to maintain financial accuracy for Kickstand. The role focuses on accurate record maintenance, supporting payroll, and ensuring timely reporting to funders. Ideal candidates will be organized, detail-oriented, and work well with financial systems. Key Responsibilities:

- Enter and maintain financial records in Sage
- Help ensure prompt vendor payments and contractor management
- Aid in payroll processing with attention to detail
- Support accounts receivable and grant tracking efforts
- Prepare quarterly GST returns and reports Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar
- Minimum 2 years of relevant bookkeeping experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles
- Experience with Sage 50 or similar platforms preferred
