ABM College is currently looking for a highly competent, energetic, and exceptionally motivated Employment Counsellor.

Essential Job Duties

Facilitate practicum placements for students and alumni, ensuring alignment with their career goals and interests.

Design, implement, and manage professional development initiatives for students and alumni, such as job search strategies, résumé writing (individual or group settings), interview preparation, and more.

Build and sustain partnerships with community groups, agencies, businesses, industries, and other organizations as potential employers.

Gather and analyze labor market information to provide insights on job opportunities, skill requirements, and occupational trends.





Maintain up-to-date records of alumni employment, supporting their career progression.

Perform general recruitment and administrative tasks, contributing to the overall success of the team.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Social Work, Marketing, Psychology, Project Management, or a related field.

At least 1- 2 years of experience as an Employment Counsellor, preferably in a college setting.

Strong marketing and project management skills.

Demonstrated success in building employer relationships and securing employment opportunities for clients.

Self-motivated, proactive, and goal-oriented.

Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for all.
