THEOPPORTUNITY:

We are currently seeking a motivated self-starter to join our Port Coquitlam Team as a full-timeEstimator!AsamemberofourEstimatingTeam,youwillgainpracticalknowledgeoflocalFire&LifeSafetyregulations;,ourservices,andourcustomercentricapproachtobestsupportourclientsandinternalteams.AsanEstimatoryouwillberesponsibleforcreatingquotationsfordeficienciesandrepairsresultingfromannualinspections,servicecalls,repairvisits,andregularmaintenancevisits.Youwillcollaboratecloselywithourbusinessdevelopmentandoperationsteamstoensureseamlessprojectexecutionandclientsatisfaction.Thispositionoffersanexcitingopportunitytocontributetothegrowthandsuccessofourorganizationwhileworkinginadynamicandcollaborativeenvironment.

Objectives&ResponsibilitiesoftheEstimator;:

- Convertinspectionreportsintoapresentableformatforourclientsbyreviewing,editing,andfinalizingdata.




- Createquotationsbasedonnoteddeficiencies/repairsontheinspectionreportsand/orworkscopes.
- Createthequotation/proposalcoverletter.
- Liaisewithsuppliersandvendorsforpricingasneeded.
- CommunicateandcoordinatewithFieldTechnicianstoverifyinformationoninspectionreportand/orworkscopetoensureQuotationsareaccurateandallencompassing.
- Followdepartmentguidelinesandmetricsasadvisedtoachievecompanystrategicgoals.
- Assistandsupportinternaldepartmentsasrequired.
- CollaboratewithAccountManagersandOperationsregardingspecialorurgentrequests.
- Communicatecriticalinformationtocolleaguespertainingtovendors,products,equipment,pricing,andcompetitors.
- Maintainclearandopenlinesofcommunicationwithinternalteammemberstocontributetoanefficientworkflowprocess.
- Adheretoandpromotethecompany'scorevalues,processes,policiesandOccupationalHealthandSafetyprotocols.
- Additionaldutiesastheymayarise.

- Strongattentiontodetail,strategicthinking,andanalyticalskills.
- Experienceinorgeneral/technicalknowledgeoftheFirePreventionIndustryisconsideredanasset.

- Excellenttimemanagementandtaskprioritizationskills;abilitytomanagevarioushighprioritytaskswhileplanningforandmeetingdeadlinesasneeded.
- Resourcefulnatureandabilitytothinkcritically;abletoproactivelyproblem-solveandprovidecustomercentricfocusedsolutions.
- MusthaveexcellentEnglishcommunicationskills(verbalandwritten).
