Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Excavator Operator specializing in Access Matting to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating excavators to install and maintain access matting and ensure safe and stable ground conditions on various construction sites. Your expertise will help facilitate efficient project progress while maintaining safety standards and operational excellence.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with heavy equipment in a rapid-paced environment, contributing directly to large-scale infrastructure projects.

Duties

- Operate excavators with precision to place, adjust, and remove access mats across diverse terrains, ensuring stability and safety for ongoing construction activities
- Coordinate with site supervisors and other heavy equipment operators to execute project plans efficiently
- Conduct routine inspections of excavators to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
- Maintain detailed logs of equipment usage, maintenance needs, and safety checks in accordance with company policies




- Follow all safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and construction site procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment

Experience

- Proven experience operating excavators in a construction setting, particularly involving access matting or ground stabilization projects
- Familiarity with construction site safety standards and regulations
- Valid class 5 driver’s license
- Prior experience with Access Matting
- Knowledge of basic maintenance procedures for excavators and related machinery to support operational uptime

Pay: $40.00-$48.00 per hour
