Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Experienced Cake Decorator to join our vibrant culinary team! Duties

- Decorate cakes with intricate designs, piping, fondant work, and other decorative techniques to meet customer specifications and seasonal themes
- Prepare cake batter, fillings, frostings, and other ingredients with precision and adherence to food safety standards
- Assist customers in selecting cake designs, flavors, and sizes, providing exceptional customer service throughout the process
- Handle food preparation tasks including measuring ingredients, mixing batters, and assembling cakes efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery workspace in compliance with food handling regulations
- Package finished cakes securely for delivery or pickup, ensuring presentation quality and freshness




- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely production of cakes for events and daily orders

Experience

- Proven experience as a cake decorator or in a bakery setting with a strong portfolio of decorated cakes
- Extensive knowledge of cake decorating techniques including piping, fondant sculpting, airbrushing, and edible embellishments
- Prior restaurant or food industry experience preferred, demonstrating familiarity with food preparation and food safety practices
- Hands-on experience with baking processes, ingredient handling, and kitchen equipment operation
- Excellent customer service skills to engage clients effectively and understand their custom design requests
- Strong understanding of food handling regulations and safety standards within a commercial kitchen environment
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality craftsmanship
