Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely entry and processing
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering and processing payments
- Maintain cleanliness of service areas, tables, and dining spaces in compliance with food safety regulations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure proper food preparation and timely delivery of orders
- Assist guests with questions about menu items, dietary restrictions,



or special requests to provide exceptional guest services
- Support team members during busy periods by managing time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently

Requirements

- Previous food service experience or restaurant experience is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm is key!
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to handle food safely, including proper food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and making change accurately
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods
- Familiarity with food industry standards for serving, food preparation, and guest interactions
- Kitchen experience or hospitality background is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is essential
