Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Toronto, ON for a Forklift / Truck / Trailer Driver with an Indian heavy driver licence. The driver will operate forklifts, trucks, and trailers to move, load, and unload materials safely within the facility and between locations. Daily tasks include performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, following loading and unloading procedures, and ensuring secure transportation of goods.

The role involves coordinating with warehouse staff, maintaining accurate shipping and receiving documentation, and adhering to all safety and traffic regulations.



The driver is expected to maintain a clean and organized work area, report equipment issues promptly, and follow company policies and schedules.

Qualifications

- Experience with Shipping & Receiving processes, including documentation and coordination
- Skills in Unloading and Material Handling using appropriate tools and equipment
- Proficiency in Packing and securing loads to prevent damage in transit
- Demonstrated ability in safe Forklift Operation with valid certification or willingness to obtain it
- Valid Indian heavy driver licence and clean driving record; eligibility to drive and work in Canada as required
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulations for warehouse and transport operations
- Ability to lift moderate to heavy loads, stand for extended periods, and work in varied warehouse conditions
- Basic communication skills in English, with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Prior experience driving trucks or trailers in commercial or industrial settings is an asset
- Reliability, attention to detail, and commitment to punctuality and protected work practices
