Our Client is looking for a Senior Full Stack Software Developer to support the ongoing development of the Ontario Agricultural Soil Information System (OASIS).

The solution includes a core web application built using Java and Microsoft Azure technologies, along with a field data application leveraging ESRI GIS technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deliver enterprise-grade full-stack applications using Java/JEE, Spring Boot, Angular, HTML5, and RESTful APIs

Develop scalable Java-based backend services and integrations within Microsoft Azure

Design and implement integrations with ESRI ArcGIS Portal, Survey123, and geospatial services

Translate business and technical requirements into detailed technical designs and production-ready solutions

Develop programming specifications, application components, configurations, and customizations

Build and manage application releases and deployment pipelines

Develop and maintain CI/CD processes using Azure DevOps Repos and Pipelines

Perform unit testing, troubleshooting, defect resolution, and quality assurance activities

Work collaboratively within an Agile delivery environment

Ensure applications meet security, privacy, accessibility, and government technology standards

Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, architects, analysts, and project teams throughout the software delivery lifecycle

Must-Have Skills

5+ years of hands-on full-stack Java application development experience

1+ year of experience developing and implementing Java solutions for soil management systems

Java/JEE

Spring Boot 2.5+

RESTful API design, development, and integration

Azure SQL Database, Oracle, and/or PostgreSQL

Microsoft Azure development experience

Azure App Service Plans
