About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated and engaging Higher Education Admissions Counselor to join their team in Kimberley. This role is crucial in guiding prospective students through the admissions process, from initial inquiry to enrollment. You will be responsible for advising students on program options, application procedures, and financial aid, while actively participating in recruitment events.

This hybrid position combines essential on-campus interactions with remote communication and follow-up, offering a dynamic way to contribute to student success and the growth of the institution.

Key Responsibilities

Advise prospective students and their families on academic programs, campus life, and the admissions process.

Manage a recruitment territory, engaging with potential students through phone calls, emails, virtual sessions, and in-person visits.

Conduct interviews and evaluate applications to determine candidate eligibility for admission.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with high school counselors, community colleges, and other feeder institutions.

Represent the institution at recruitment fairs,



information sessions, and other promotional events.

Utilize the CRM system to track prospect activity, manage communication, and report on recruitment metrics.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's degree is a plus.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in admissions, recruitment, or a related student services role.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

Proficiency in using CRM software and other student information systems.

Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends for recruitment events.
