Reporting to the Director, Human Resources, the HR Business Partner will drive and support a strategic approach to our people management. You will be working directly with managers and employees, aligning procedures with policies, all while having lots of fun!

Please note that this is an in-person, 5-day-a-week position out of our Leduc office.

Position Description

What you do:

- Supporting the HR Director with strategic objectives
- Managing employee relations issues
- Conducting and assisting with workplace investigations
- Developing and maintaining company policies and handbooks
- Creating training materials and facilitating learning sessions
- Supporting recruitment and administrative activities as needed
- Developing and administering employee programs, including recognition and performance management
- Liaising with payroll regarding pay and compensation matters
- Providing guidance on interpreting Employment Standards and other relevant legislation
- Travelling to various office locations as required
- Visiting work sites to engage with employees




- Mentoring and training HR team members

Position Requirements

What you bring:

- Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a similar field
- CPHR Designation is a must
- At least 5 years of experience in a generalist or advisor capacity
- The ability to work in office most of the time in this role (it still comes with some flexibility)
- An absolute self-starter who brings ideas forward. Seeing the big picture and not afraid of trying something new
- Being ok with traveling frequently (around 25%)
- Always looking for a better process and solutions that are best for our employees but also fit business needs
