- We are seeking a skilled HVAC/R Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience in troubleshooting, servicing and installing HVAC/R systems. Ideal candidate is a 3-5 year apprentice, or a licensed mechanic.
Responsibilities
- Installation of HVAC and Refrigeration equipment
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC and Refrigeration systems
- Troubleshoot and repair of HVAC and Refrigeration equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and service manuals
- Ensure all installations meet safety standards and manufacturer specifications
Experience/Qualifications
- Must have a minimum (3) years of experience working on commercial HVAC/R equipment
- Must hold a valid Gas Technician (2) License, Gas (1) considered an asset
- 313A Refrigeration License considered an asset
- Ozone Depletion Prevention License (ODP) considered an asset
- Commercial refrigeration experience considered an asset
- Valid G drivers license with a clean driver abstract
- Must be able to communicate in English, both in written and verbal communication
- Must be competent in servicing and installing commercial and residential gas fired heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment
