Responsibilities

SUMMARY

The IT Knowledge Management Analyst is a highly customer-oriented role requiring a strong focus on organizing new and existing documentation and provide training and technical facilitation ensuring sustainment of all knowledge artifacts to ensure and currency and availability of production environment support documentation.

This role will apply Knowledge-Centered Service methodology, a set of processes/practices that leverage knowledge as a key asset of the support organization and implement and apply continuous improvement to the practical steps for capturing, structuring, and successfully reusing knowledge through the knowledge management process.

Qualifications

EDUCATION The requirements for this position are acquired through completion of a post secondary diploma in information technology related discipline.

EXPERIENCE

Requires four (4)



years of technical writing and knowledge development experience in an information technology operational and service delivery environment, which may include:

Prior experience in the documentation knowledge lifecycle from creation to archive to destruction

Demonstrated strong research and analytical skills

Understand and ability to translate complex technical concepts into knowledge

Excellent technical writing skills and verbal communication skills with the ability to persuade others

Solid grip on documentation publishing software ie; Snagit, Zendesk Guide

Prioritize and manage workload to deliver quality results and meet timelines.

Detail-oriented with attention to trends

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Demonstrated ability to effectively manage positive customer relationships.

Demonstrate excellent organizational and time management skills.

Computer skills - Standard Office tools including word processing and spreadsheet software, common project management software, common database applications and basic network, software, and other systems technologies.

Experience with process and procedure development

Experience with various corporate application systems would be beneficial.

Other Information

Recruitment Process: An applicant will be required to demonstrate their suitability for this position by meeting the minimum level of qualifications and experience in order to be invited into the selection process. A standard interview format will be used including general, scenario and behavioural descriptive interview questions.

Work Schedule

37.5 hours per week.





This is a full time temporary position with an estimated end date of April 02, 2027.

Work Designation

Hybrid

This position offers the flexibility of working both on-site and remotely within B.C.

Rate of Pay

Salary $7,556 - $9,062 per month (Actual salary offered will be commensurate with education, experience and internal parity).

The Total Compensation Package includes Extended Health, Transit Pass and enrollment in the Public Service Pension Plan upon eligibility.
