We are looking for a Journeyman Electrician to join the Maintenance team at an industrial manufacturing facility in Edmonton.

Employment Type: Temporary, approximately 1-2 months

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Shift: 12:30 PM - 9:00 PM

Pay: $45.88/hour

Department: Maintenance

Responsibilities

- Maintain and repair plant electrical systems
- Install new equipment as required
- Troubleshoot electrical issues
- Assist millwrights with mechanical work when needed
- Follow company safety procedures and HACCP requirements
- Maintain a safe and organized work setting

Qualifications

- Valid Provincial Journeyman Electrician Certificate or recognized interprovincial equivalent
- Valid Technical Qualification (TQ) trades ticket
- Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration systems
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Industrial or commercial construction experience is an asset

Working Conditions

- Exposure to machinery, noise, humidity, fumes, and temperature changes
- Requires regular standing, walking, lifting, and handling of equipment
