Our confidential healthcare client is currently seeking a professional, compassionate, and reliable Medical Office Assistant to join their busy blended medical practice in Southwest Calgary on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will join a collaborative team in a patient-centered environment focused on providing exceptional care and service to patients and their families. The practice provides a range of primary care services, with a focus on maternity and newborn care, women's health, and specialized women's healthcare.

Responsibilities

Greet patients and check them in using the electronic medical record (EMR) system.

Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients and families in a friendly and professional manner.

Schedule and book patient appointments.

Maintain accurate and organized patient records.

Complete general administrative duties, including filing, faxing, photocopying, and document management.

Provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming, compassionate experience for patients and their families.





Assist with a variety of administrative tasks to support the physicians and overall clinic operations.

Prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively in a rapid-paced medical office environment.

Requirements

Medical Office Assistant (MOA) certification.

Previous experience using

ACCURO EMR is required.

Previous experience working in a primary care or medical office setting is preferred.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.

Strong work ethic and a conscientious, reliable, and professional approach.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
