The Laboratory

Technician position will primarily support the Leak Testing division, which represents ATEQ’s largest and most established business segment.

Job Summary:

The Laboratory Technician is responsible for the calibration, adjustment, testing, and maintenance of measurement equipment while ensuring compliance with laboratory procedures and quality requirements. The Laboratory Technician also serves as the laboratory's technical and quality lead, coordinating laboratory operations, maintaining ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation requirements, supporting audits, managing quality system activities, and ensuring customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities/Duties:

- Calibrate, perform adjustments and functional verification measurement devices according to procedures and deadlines.
- Participate in proficiency testing, inter-laboratory comparisons,



and inter-personnel comparisons.
- Ensure calibration equipment remains within calibration intervals and maintain records.
- Maintain laboratory organization, cleanliness, and safety.
- Report equipment issues, measurement anomalies, and improvement opportunities.
- Verify compliance of products and services with customer and regulatory requirements.
- Plan and coordinate daily laboratory operations.
- Manage laboratory schedules, workload, and budget activities.
- Develop laboratory procedures, work instructions, and calibration methods.
- Maintain compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.
- Coordinate internal and external audits.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Liaise with ATEQ Group Quality representatives.
- Define and implement laboratory quality objectives with local managers.
- Ensure company personnel receive appropriate training and competency assessments.
- Maintain measurement uncertainty calculations and laboratory scope of accreditation.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and quality performance indicators.

Required Skills/Abilities:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
- Sensor and fluid mechanical knowledge are required

Preferred Skills/Abilities:

- Training in ISO17025 and ISO9001
- Previous experience in the engineering manufacturing industries

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
