About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Lead Security Engineer to spearhead security initiatives from their offices in Kimberley . Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-level security solutions.
- Oversee the implementation and management of security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and endpoint protection.

- Develop and maintain security infrastructure documentation and operational procedures.

- Respond to and investigate complex security incidents, providing advanced technical analysis.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in security engineering and architecture.
- Deep technical expertise in network security, cloud security, and systems security.
- Proven experience with scripting and automation tools for security tasks.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Relevant certifications like CISSP, CCSP, or GIAC are highly desirable.
