Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and hands-on Live-In Building Superintendent located in Hamilton Ontario - to manage the day-to-day upkeep and general operations of a residential building approx 30 units 3 floors. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being on site, responding to resident needs, and maintaining a clean, protected, and well-run property. For August 2026

Key Responsibilities

- Perform general maintenance and minor repairs
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas (hallways, stairwells, shared spaces)
- Manage garbage and recycling
- Respond to resident maintenance requests and after-hours emergencies as required
- Conduct regular inspections of the building and report issues
- Coordinate access and oversee contractors when needed
- Ensure building safety and compliance
- Maintain positive, professional relationships with residents

Qualifications

- Previous experience as a superintendent, caretaker,



or in building maintenance preferred
- Comfortable responding to on-call and emergency situations
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Basic knowledge of building systems is an asset

Compensation & Housing

- Live-in accommodation provided ( Value benefit $1900 per month, provided with cell phone and gas expense)

- Utilities and additional terms to be discussed during interview
- Rental and cleaning unit bonus are paid when arise.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16,800.00-$17,000.00 per year
