Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and safety-conscious Loader Operator specializing in Access Matting to join our construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment to efficiently load, transport, and position access mats and related materials on construction sites. Your expertise will ensure smooth project progress by maintaining high safety standards, demonstrating mechanical proficiency, and executing precise equipment operation.

Responsibilities

- Operate loaders with precision to handle access mats and construction materials.
- Load and unload access mats onto trucks or trailers safely and efficiently, ensuring proper placement for project needs.
- Conduct pre-operation inspections of equipment to guarantee optimal performance and safety compliance.
- Assist with site preparation activities as needed.
- Maintain detailed records of equipment usage, inspections, and maintenance requirements.




- Follow all safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents or injuries in office.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate material movement and ensure timely project completion.

Requirements

- Proven experience operating loaders handling access, rig and crane mats.
- Mechanical knowledge sufficient to perform routine inspections and minor maintenance on equipment.
- Valid class 5 driver’s license
- Construction experience with a focus on access matting installation or related activities is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of heavy equipment safety procedures and best practices.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining high attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of Access Mat operations.

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
