2853 32ND STREET NE, Calgary, Alberta, Canada They’re required at this post to observe, detect, prevent, and apprehend shoplifters within the locations working at this post. They’re appointed to detain and interview shoplifters when warranted.

Candidates are also appointed to observe, detect and report internal dishonesty to the Warehouse Manager and Regional Loss Prevention Manager for approval to investigate.



They’re appointed at this post to provide reports of potential internal theft situations to the warehouse manager. They’re also appointed to detect, identify and report possible shrink reduction opportunities within our operations to Management.

Candidates appointed at this post are required to prepare reports for internal use and for potential prosecution. Candidates are appointed to maintain evidence collected and report files from investigations. Candidates at this post are appointed to follow and maintain knowledge of Costco procedures and applicable laws in performance of duties.

Candidates are required to attend meetings and seminars regarding loss prevention to be eligible for this post. Job requirement

Candidates must have completed a high school diploma and have a valid loss prevention license to be eligible for this post. Candidates must have loss prevention experience to be eligible for this post. They must have solid understanding and knowledge of the Criminal Code of Canada relating to theft and fraud offenses to be eligible for this post. Candidates must have dedicated communication, observation, and problem-solving skills to be eligible for this post.
