Duties
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, and tire rotations efficiently and accurately
- Inspect tires for wear, damage, and proper inflation; install new tires and balance wheels as needed
- Assist with basic mechanical repairs under supervision, including replacing brake pads or belts
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to complete maintenance tasks according to manufacturer specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
- Communicate clearly with customers about service needs and recommended repairs
- Support the sales team by identifying additional service opportunities that enhance vehicle performance
Skills
- Previous dealership or automotive repair experience is highly preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and components
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physically demanding tasks
- Knowledge of automotive safety standards and procedures
