Shamrock Hospitality is looking for a dedicated and experienced Manager of Food and Beverage Operations to join our team.

This is a hybrid management role with the Eastlink Centre Food and Beverage Sector as your primary home base. Your main focus will be overseeing the food and beverage operations at The Eastlink Centre, with an emphasis on game nights, sporting events, special events, and the day-to-day food and beverage operations.

This position will also play an important role across Shamrock Hospitality's three other locations. We are looking for someone who can bring their management experience, leadership, and operational knowledge to wherever it is needed. The successful candidate will be flexible, adaptable, and comfortable stepping into different locations. You will be supporting our other managers and teams, and taking on additional responsibilities during busy periods, events, or staffing needs.

This person will be a key point of contact for staff at the Eastlink Centre and will work closely with the Managing Director and management teams across Shamrock Hospitality to ensure consistency, efficiency, and high standards throughout our operations. This person will be a creative thinker who takes initiative to curate and spearhead new event opportunities within the company.

What You'll Do:

Eastlink Centre Operations

- Oversee the front and back of house operations at the Eastlink Centre
- Lead the day-to-day operation of the business, with a particular focus on game nights and special events
- Be present and actively involved during major events and high-volume service periods
- Schedule staff and monitor and manage labour levels
- Ensure a high standard of guest service, food quality,



cleanliness, and overall presentation
- Oversee product ordering and inventory while maintaining positive supplier relationships
- Monitor food and beverage costs and make adjustments as needed
- Monitor sales, trends, and guest feedback to improve offerings and maximize the success of the business
- Take on other duties and projects as required for the successful operation of the business

Leadership & Development - Eastlink Centre

- Assist with the hiring of new staff and take a lead role in their training, development, and growth within the company
- Mentor and support management and staff teams
- Assist in building and maintaining budgets
- Work with the Executive Chef on menus that align with the brand and vision of the business
- Work with the Bar Manager on bar menus, beverage offerings, and promotions
- Maintain the highest standards of food safety and ensure compliance with the Liquor Control Act
- Maintain strict health and safety standards
- Work closely with the Managing Director and other members of the leadership team on both day-to-day operations and long-term business goals
- Take on other duties and projects as required for the successful operation of the business

Company-Wide Management Support

- Provide management support at Shamrock Hospitality's other locations as required (Olde Dublin Pub, Claddagh Oyster House and The Local Pub and Oyster Bar)
- Step into different management roles and locations when additional support is needed during busy and peak seasons, special events and off site catering opportunities.




- Work collaboratively with other managers to maintain consistent standards and procedures across the company
- Bring your experience and knowledge to different teams and operations within Shamrock Hospitality
- Be willing to adapt to the needs of the business and take on responsibilities outside of your primary location when required and able

Who You Are:

- An experienced food and beverage leader with a minimum of 5 years in a qualified food and beverage environment
- Food Handlers certification will be considered an asset
- A strong manager who can confidently lead a team while also working collaboratively with other managers
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to move between locations and step into different operational needs
- Someone who enjoys being a "pinch hitter" and is willing to jump in wherever they can make the biggest impact. Calm under pressure and comfortable managing high-volume events and busy service periods
- Organized, reliable, and able to balance both the big picture and the day-to-day details
- An excellent communicator and problem solver
- A leader who takes pride in mentoring others and contributing to the growth of the team
- Someone who is comfortable working evenings, weekends, sporting events, and special events as required
