Measurement Technicians - $53.06/hr - Dawson Creek, BC, Fort St John, BC

Pacific Northern Gas is seeking Measurement Technicians to join their Operations team in Northeast British Columbia, based in Dawson Creek or Fort St. John. This role involves overseeing measurement facilities, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will have solid technical skills, a background in instrumentation, and experience in the natural gas utility sector.

What You’ll Need

- Successful completion of Instrumentation Apprenticeship (RED SEAL) or vendor training program on telemetry (SCADA) system




- High School Diploma Grade 12 with Grade 11 Mathematics and Physics
- Valid Class 5 B.C. Driver’s License
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical reports, and operating manuals
- Good physical condition
- Demonstrated safe work habits and adherence to safety regulations
- Ability to evaluate conditions and make decisions under pressure
- Demonstrated mechanical ability
- Strong technical writing and oral communication skills
- Ability to train other employees
- Minimum two years’ experience as a Measurement Technician
- Minimum two years of relevant experience in a natural gas utility
