100% company paid health benefits employer-matched pension plan continuing education career advancement opportunities within our credit union The Member Service Support Representative provides a superior member experience by greeting members, responding to inquiries and promoting the products and services of the credit union while providing administrative support to the various departments and/or branch.

Member Services

Greet members and potential members, responding to inquiries on basic credit union products and services.

Responsible for member problems and resolutions wherever possible, referring more complex issues to the appropriate person or department.

Refer members, in person or via telephone, to appropriate staff members and departments as necessary.

Solicit new members and foster business development through service excellence, product knowledge and teamwork.

Administrative Support

Provide clerical support and assistance to the department or branch staff.





Process all required reports and documentation efficiently and accurately ensuring deadlines are met.

Coordinating resources and supplies to ensure Access standards are met.

Team Work

Maintain open communication and cooperation with other staff to ensure a friendly and efficient work environment.

Business Development & Community Relations

Actively look for referral opportunities for both lending and wealth teams.

Participate in and contribute to an entrepreneurial environment to seek out new business and referral opportunities that support the branch and organization goals.

Pro-actively work to retain and expand existing member relationships, while pursuing new sources of business.

Differentiate between credit union and competitor products and services in terms of member needs.

Act as an ambassador for the credit union by being visible in the community through professional and personal involvement in various community groups and activities.

Essential Qualifications

Grade 12 diploma or equivalent

Business Administration or other post-secondary education would be considered an asset





Previous customer service experience

Demonstrated desire to serve others in a friendly and professional manner

Ability to identify and willingness to act upon sales and service opportunities

Basic understanding of account opening and credit granting functions

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written

Attention to detail with high degree of accuracy

Ability to work in fast-paced workplace and perform well under pressure

Ability to prioritize using sound judgment to make timely and effective decisions

Knowledge of Access Credit Union’s products and services

Ability to follow standardized policies and procedures

Knowledge of risk management within the financial industry

Proficient computer skills

Note: This position provides lending services support to the Beausejour, Oakbank and Whitemouth branches.

Employee Sub-Type Fixed Term (Fixed Term) Target End Date 2027-11-23 Starting Salary $39,000 Salary Band $37,752.00 - $46,258.00 In most situations, candidates will be offered the starting salary for the position. In exceptional circumstances, and at the organization’s discretion, an offer may be made above the stated minimum based on factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, internal equity and external compensation factors. When underfilling a position, the salary offered may be in a lower salary band.
