Job Title: IndustrialMillwright

Salary Range: CAD$38.00– CAD$43.50

Working Type: On-Site The Licensed Industrial Millwright will be responsible forinstalling, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical andindustrial equipment used in a highly automated Hilton Foods productionfacility. This position ensures production reliability, equipment safety, andreliable operations of food processing and packaging lines.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Read andinterpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine workprocedures and parts requirements.
- Install, align,dismantle, and repair machinery such as pumps, conveyors, mixers,grinders, slicers etc.
- Inspect andexamine machinery to detect and investigate malfunctions to improveproduction yield.
- Use specializedtools such as welders, hydraulic bolters, and cutting equipment as per jobrequirement.
- Provide supportin troubleshooting mechanical control systems in conjunction withelectrician, automation technician etc.
- Performpredictive maintenance using techniques such as vibration analysis andprecision measurements.
- Ensure compliancewith workplace safety, food‑safety standards, and environmentalregulations.
- Completepreventative maintenance and corrective work orders, maintenance logs, anddocumentation accurately in the computerized maintenance management system(CMMS).




- Operate hoistingand lifting devices such as cranes and jacks safely as per the jobrequirement.
- Followlockout/tagout procedures and maintain secure work practices.

KEY EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE ANDSKILLS

- Completion of secondary school required.
- Completion of secondary school is required.
- Completion of a 4-year Industrial Mechanic Millwright apprenticeship.
- Valid Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) license (433A)
- 3–5 years of industrial or manufacturing millwright experience preferred, food manufacturing experience is an asset.
- Experience with conveyors, pumps, packaging machinery, and sanitary equipment preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
