Join our team as an Oilfield Laborer. You will perform essential manual and operational tasks on oil leases and construction sites, including assisting picker crews, combo vac operators, and welders. This position will involve operating skid steer, pulling trailers, picking up parts and manual labor such as shovelling and raking. Mechanical abilities an assest, willingness to learn required. Must have reliable transportation to and from Minburn, AB.
Responsibilities
- Assist picker operators, combo vac operators, and welders as needed
- Operate skid steers, vehicals
- Support well set ups, repair and maintenance of existing piping, pipefitting and spill cleanups
- Perform routine mechanicl tasks including greasing, checking fluids and services equipment
- Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe working environment for all team members
- Collaborate with team members to execute daily operations in a safe and positive manner
Requirements
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Class 5 drivers license
- Mechanical knowledge an asset
- Safety tickets such as First Aid, H2S, etc an asset
- Robust physical abilities to perform manual labor in outdoor environments under varying weather conditions
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
