Operations Manager - Manufacturing - Wood framing components

Sawback Craft Co , a leading manufacturer of wood framed building components, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee our wall and stair production. As we aim to grow our production team to over 40 employees, the ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient operations, maintaining high-quality standards, and leading our expanding workforce.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, organize, and manage daily operations to meet production targets
- Implement and monitor quality control measures
- Optimize processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Manage inventory, procurement, and supply chain logistics
- Lead, train, and supervise production staff
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
- Collaborate with other departments to drive continuous improvement

Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of wood construction
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural plans

Preferred Skills:
- Experience in manufacturing, particularly in prefab or similar industries
- Proven track record of successfully running large teams
- Relevant certifications or training in operations,



safety, or project management
- Advanced problem solving is a necessity in this fast paced workplace

We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $150,000, along with benefits. Work Location: Office is located in Okotoks. Prefab facilities are located in Calgary (Ogden) and Crossfield AB. Candidate will be splitting time between the office, and both facilities. Negotiable on how to split that time up. Willing to compensate for mileage for travel between locations.

Pay: $100,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
