Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

- Certificate from a recognized business college, combined with related work experience. Equivalencies will be considered.
- 2 years of experience in customer service or dealing with the public
- The ability to speak Cree is an asset.
- Advanced knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel), Publisher, and technologicalplatforms such as Microsoft Teams, with a general aptitude for expanding use ofsoftware applications to enhance efficiency.
- Demonstrated ability to manage highly sensitiveinformation and documents,



exercising confidentiality, discretion, good judgment,tact, courtesy, and diplomacy always.
- Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to manage a variety of personalities that approach desk to balance the changing needs of theorganization.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to create a welcoming environment for clients despite how client may present themselves
- Organizational and communication skills, bothwritten and verbal, are required.
- Previous working experience with First Nations people and demonstrate an understanding of the health and social issues encountered by First Nations people, and a willingness to learn about and accept First Nations cultures.
- Ability to work in a team environment as an effective team player.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license and successful criminal record check with the vulnerable sector.
