Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Pharmacy Technician role based in Windsor, ON.

The Pharmacy

Technician supports day-to-day pharmacy operations, including preparing and packaging prescriptions, entering and processing medication orders, and assisting with inventory management and stock rotation. The role includes providing courteous customer service, answering patient questions within scope, and referring clinical concerns to the pharmacist.

Technician helps maintain accurate records, supports third-party adjudication and billing,



and follows all regulatory, safety, and privacy guidelines. Collaboration with pharmacists and other team members is essential to ensure efficient workflow and positive patient experiences.

Qualifications

- Formal Pharmacy Technician education or training, and registration or eligibility for registration with the appropriate provincial regulatory body.
- Knowledge of prescription processing, medication packaging, and pharmacy software systems.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with patients and colleagues.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, labeling, and documentation.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures, regulatory requirements, and infection control practices.
- Basic math skills for dosage calculations and handling cash or billing transactions.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to a fast-paced retail pharmacy setting.
- Previous community pharmacy experience is an asset; bilingual communication skills are considered an advantage.
