Program Operations & Growth Manager (Mandarin Required)

About GrowMate

GrowMate™ is an after‑school project‑based learning program for children ages 6–17. Students develop human skills through real‑world projects, small peer groups, and guidance from Role Model Mentors.

Responsibilities

- Communicate with prospective and enrolled families
- Introduce GrowMate programs and answer parent questions
- Follow up with interested families and support enrollment
- Coordinate student groups, schedules, mentors, and classes
- Maintain ongoing communication with parents and mentors
- Help organize venues, showcases, and program activities
- Support local marketing and community outreach
- Develop relationships with schools, community organizations, and other partners
- Help improve day‑to‑day operating processes as the program grows

Qualifications

- Fluent Mandarin Chinese is required




- Strong spoken and written English
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Organized, proactive, reliable, and comfortable taking ownership
- Comfortable speaking with parents and following up with prospective families
- Able to manage multiple tasks in a small, fast‑moving workplace
- Experience in education, program operations, customer service, sales, marketing, enrollment, or community programs is an asset

Work Arrangement

Part‑time, approximately 15–25 hours per week initially. Some flexibility in working hours. Must be located in Metro Vancouver and available for in‑person meetings and activities when needed. Potential to transition to a full‑time position as GrowMate grows.

Compensation

- C$26–$32 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Pay: $26.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 25.0 per week
