We are currently seeking a Quality Engineer to join our team. (Entry level)

salary range 45k to 55k.

1-2 years of Quality experience, with preference in automotive (Injection moulding).

Key Responsibilities

-* Support critical tasks such as PPAP, APQP, DVP&R;, DFMEA and PFMEA *to ensure successful execution of new programs.

- Address customer issues and review testing requirements to ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with suppliers to meet testing requirements for PPAP.
- Ensure production quality aligns with specifications.
- Support the calibration system by maintaining records and ensuring timely calibration of gauges and equipment.
- Provide onsite support to customers and suppliers as needed.

Assist with prototype builds and document processes according to the inspection checklist.

- Collect and report SPC data monthly, collaborating with manufacturing on process improvements.
- Aid in the development of job instructions and procedures for manufacturing.
- Document all activities as required and maintain compliance with company guidelines, union contracts, IATF16949, ISO14001, and applicable regulations.
- Define and implement customer indicators to monitor satisfaction levels and report findings to management.

Make decisions regarding non-conforming materials, ensuring proper containment and follow-up.





- Perform additional assignments as directed by the Quality Manager and Program Manager.
- Advise on improvements in tracking and reporting procedures.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technology, or equivalent experience.
- CQE (ASQ) certification preferred.

1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing facility with a well-rounded background in quality engineering.

- APQP experience is essential.
- Knowledge of production processes, machines, and tools, including design and uses.
- Strong organizational and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Proficiency in database applications and administration systems, particularly Microsoft Office and statistical software.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Highly motivated, service-oriented, and detail-focused individual.
- Enthusiasm for challenges and new initiatives is essential.
- Strong analytical, supervisory, and interpersonal skills, along with troubleshooting abilities.
